Is losclouds really free?
Yes. The Free tier covers everything we ship publicly today — live status across thousands of services, downtime alerts, a handful of custom uptime monitors, and the public API on a generous limit.
When can I actually pay you?
We're not taking payments yet. The Plus, Pro, and Business tiers are listed for transparency so contributors can see the limit ladder. Sign in and we'll keep your tier upgrade-ready for when billing ships.
What counts as an 'alert subscription'?
One service, scope, or component you watch via email, webhook, or push. The cap is per account on the authenticated buckets and per email address for anonymous visitors. Same address counts separately once you sign in — see the docs for the exact buckets.
What is a custom monitor?
A URL you want us to probe. We run an HTTP check on the current global cadence and surface uptime, response time, and incident history. Custom monitors are workspace-owned — you can share them across team members.
Why is the minimum check interval shown as "Coming soon"?
Today every monitor runs on a single global tick. Per-monitor cadence (where Plus runs faster than Free, etc.) is on the roadmap but not enforced yet, so we surface it transparently rather than implying it ships.
Will my Free workspace stop working if I do not upgrade?
No. Free is a real product, not a trial. We only gate creation past the cap — existing workspaces, monitors, and alerts continue to run.
Can I see the underlying data?
Yes. The public API surfaces every public catalog signal we measure on a tier-scaled rate limit. API keys live in your workspace settings; see the API block on the homepage for the route reference.
